3K a year Employment Opportunity - Public Health Nurse - Temporary - Full Time - Exempt Public Health Nurse
Responsibilities:
Provides direct nursing services in all community health programs, which include, but are not limited to immunizations, communicable disease, emergency preparedness, & other special programs & projects.
Performs work requiring advanced knowledge, which is predominately intellectual in character, in areas of physical science including, but not limited to microbiology, physiology, and epidemiology.
Handles the investigation and control of communicable disease by conducting appropriate follow-up activities.
Prepares records and reports of an operational, professional and, occasionally, research nature.
Schedule:
8:
30 am - 4:
30 pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
11:
00 am - 7:
00 pm Tuesday.
Temporary position is scheduled to end on November 30, 2025.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Illinois license as a Registered Nurse (RN) required One year of experience in infectious disease surveillance and prevention work, to include the provision of client-centered disease prevention counseling preferred.
Public health experience preferred.
Valid Illinois Driver's License.
Ability to pass background check.
