Shifts can start as early as 6am and end as late as 7:

We do merit reviews at 90 days based on performance and then yearly reviews from then on.
Duties:
- Supervise and monitor dogs in a daycare setting - Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in your care - Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, including fetch, tug-of-war, and other interactive games - Provide basic grooming services such as brushing and bathing - Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces - Administer medications or treatments to dogs as directed by the owner or veterinarian - Assist with feeding and maintaining proper nutrition for each dog - Maintain accurate records of each dog's activities, behavior, and health Requirements:
- Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting (e.
g.
, dog daycare, veterinary clinic, animal shelter) is a PLUS but not required - Knowledge of dog behavior and body language (we will train you with PackPro) - Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments - Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and being on your feet for long periods of time - Excellent customer service skills to interact with dog owners and provide updates on their pets' well-being - Strong attention to detail to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the facility - Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with coworkers Skills:
- Dog handling:
Experience in safely handling dogs of various breeds and sizes.
- Heavy lifting:
Ability to lift heavy objects, such as bags of dog food or crates.
- Animal care:
Experience in providing basic care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and administering medication.
- Kennel:
Familiarity with kennel operations, including cleaning and maintenance is a plus but not required - Customer service:
Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service to dog owners.
- Animal handling:
Ability to safely handle animals while minimizing stress or injury.
- Pet grooming:
Basic knowledge of grooming techniques, such as brushing and bathing.
- Animal restraint:
Skill in safely restraining animals when necessary.
